Tiberiu Motoc
Consultant
Tiberiu Motoc is a technology and logistics executive with over 15 years of experience building high‑scale shipping platforms and leading engineering organizations through rapid growth, acquisition, and transformation. A constant innovator in the shipping and logistics world, he blends deep hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to help organizations modernize their operations and unlock new revenue. In addition to a successful exit as Co‑founder and CTO of RedBrick247 (acquired by International Bridge in 2018), he is currently building a next generation TMS platform focused on AI & analytics employing a modular suite of flexible, reusable logistics technology components that can be tailored to customer’s needs and implemented through professional services engagements.
As Co‑founder of RedBrick247, Tiberiu architected and implemented a multi‑carrier, multi‑integration web and API shipping platform designed for enterprise scale and high transaction volumes. Following RedBrick247’s acquisition by International Bridge, he played a pivotal role in merging the two companies’ platforms and organizations. At International Bridge, he helped grow sales 5x over his first three years by aligning product and engineering roadmaps with commercial strategy, strengthening the core platform, and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations. He led the International Bridge engineering organization in the design, development, and management of core systems, including the migration of RedBrick247 onto the International Bridge platform, as well as the build‑out of pick & pack capabilities, sortation systems, and warehouse management operations. He advised on a machine learning initiative focused on customs compliance and HTS categorization, demonstrating his ability to bring data and AI into highly operational, regulated environments. Throughout, he remained a hands‑on mentor, manager, architect, and coder across critical technology projects.
Tiberiu’s entry into the shipping and logistics space began at Endicia (now part of the Auctane brand), where he first worked on technology and workflows that power modern ecommerce shipping as the LabelServer API lead engineer and eventually backend team manager. That experience gave him a foundational understanding of shipping workflows, carrier relationships, logistics operations, and the practical realities of getting parcels from merchants to consumers—insight he has since applied when designing industry specific platforms and advising clients on shipping strategy and execution.
Beyond his shipping roles, Tiberiu has held senior engineering positions in the semiconductor industry at Actel Corporation. There he built FPGA design and debugging tools; streamlined development environments; and led integration and data‑driven reporting initiatives..
A strong advocate for applied AI, Tiberiu stays on the cutting edge of emerging technologies and has guided teams in adopting AI agents, workflow automation, and machine learning to improve engineering velocity and product capabilities. He is an active mentor to startups and entrepreneurs in the Austin area, providing technical guidance, strategic input, and introductions. Tiberiu holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.
